MADURAI: An exclusive women business forum called ‘Penpreneur’ which was floated in Madurai as a networking platform for aspiring women entrepreneurs is gradually gaining momentum on the ground through its interaction meetings.
‘Penpreneur’ meeting of Madurai Chapter was conducted here on June 27th 2026 in which 25 women entrepreneurs had participated and displayed their products as a part of the forum’s aim to create opportunities for networking, business promotion and market linkages through contacts.
“This exclusive business networking platform for women entrepreneurs was initiated by VAPS Training Centre in Madurai to learn and grow together. Every successful business enterprise begins with a clear vision, a well-defined business plan and consistent execution. Penpreneur forum will organize interactive sessions twice a month in Madurai,” Mr.S.A.Arul, secretary, VAPS, has said while addressing the women entrepreneurs.
WITH CONFIDENCE AND RESILIENCE:
Mrs.R.Elamathi, Director of Green Fem, had urged the women entrepreneurs to pursue their business with confidence and resilience and she emphasized the importance of business referrals, knowledge sharing and mutual support.
Mr.T.C.Suriya Narayana Prabhu, founder and Head, Ubiquitous (SME), gave a management training session with focus on overcoming business challenges.
Dr.M.Subburajan of VAPS Training Centre, had encouraged women entrepreneurs to build a brand identity for themselves and leads their business growth with innovation and determination, according to a press release here yesterday.
