
MADURAI: Hundreds of school and college students had attended an exclusive success orientation session organised by the Tamil Nadu Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Madurai yesterday-March 2nd 2024- under the aegis of its SHARP forum.
Since this is the season of examinations and admissions for students, the ‘Dream Big’ event had focused on what the youngsters can easily do in their daily routine and confidence-building tips were given thanks to the chamber’s SHARP (Safety Health Achievement Recognition Program).
An enthralling speech was given by motivational speaker and trainer and TV fame Mr.P.Manikandan who groomed the students with his high impact oratory on how to throw away inferiority complex and develop self-esteem.
“Happiness and enthusiasm should be there in your daily life. Throw away the inferiority complex, have self-esteem, follow the value system by respecting your parents, have concentration, think big and focus on goal-setting,” Mr.Manikandan had mentored the large gathering of students who attended the programme by citing several success stories and his personal life experiences.
Mr.V.Neethi Mohan, chairman, YES (Young Entrepreneur School), has said that plenty of opportunities are coming for students as India is becoming a developed country soon. “Do what you like the most. Be passionate, beware of distractions, have a few focus areas and specialization, develop savings habit and try to understand your family budget,” he said.
Dr.N.Jegatheesan, president of TN Chamber, has said in his opening remarks that the chamber is doing several programmes as a social responsibility and training sessions-cum-motivational classes for students is one among them to promote soft skills, creative thinking, positive attitude from young age and leadership qualities.

Sathyam V.SenthilKumar, chairman of SHARP, in his welcome address said that the vision and mission is to help the aspiring youngsters to achieve their full potential by imparting success skills.
Dr.R.Radhika Devi, Director of Women’s Studies Centre, Madurai Kamaraj University and Mr.R.Balsu, soft skills expert, were among those present while food expert chef R.Ram Prakash had proposed a vote of thanks.
