MADURAI: Traditional medicine, Indian system of medicine and age old herbal methods for treatment have always been popular. Now, when people are fear stuck due to Coronavirus infection, an herbal mix or concoction called ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ is being suggested by Siddha medicine specialists in Madurai.
On 31st March 2020, this Siddha herbal mix water was prepared under the guidance of Siddha experts at Siddhi Vinayagar Temple in Chintamani in Madurai and was distributed to local residents and the general public. Mr.Karl Marx and Mr.Sudhanthiram (temple in-charge) were present.
In this ‘Kabasura Kudineer’ Siddha herbal water which was prepared after concoction process of boiling it for three hours, 18 types of herbals were mixed. They include turmeric, ‘Sukku’, ‘Milagu’, ‘Nilavembu’ etc. Also mixed in that were ‘Naattu Chhakkara’, ‘Tharbai’ and honey.
Siddha practitioners explained that this ‘Kabasura’ herbal water can prevent cocorna virus infection or fever because it increases the immunity and resistance power of a person besides giving vigor to keep away the virus.
