MADURAI: Despite repeated appeals and warnings from the Government to avoid crowding in public places in this time of Corona threat, people seem to be not bothered about the virus or social distancing if the visuals taken at Villapuram vegetable market in Madurai today are an indication.
On 30th March 2020 morning, a large number of people of that locality turned up at Villapuram market here, many of whom were not wearing masks. Residents of Ward 63 in Madurai Corporation have today appealed to the officials to take action against those who are flouting Corona curfew rules.
“Social distancing and avoiding crowding is in our interest……We must follow rules and save our lives from this virus,” some anxious local people have appealed to the people.
