MADURAI: It was down memory lane for the old students of Fatima College in Madurai to recall their campus days at the annual alumnae meet 2026 organized by Fatima College Alumnae Association here today- July 11th 2026.
The college alumni- Dr.T.Sakuntala of 1982-1985 B.Sc physics batch, Ms.Meena Satheesh of B.A.English 1979-1982 batch and Ms.Priya Balan of B.Com 2004-2007 batch were invited as special guests by the Fatima College for today’s alumnae meet, according to a press release.
A large number of college alumni had attended the meet and recalled their cherished memories while thanking their alma mater.
Dr.Sr.Ignatius Mary, secretary, Fatima College, had welcomed the ‘daughters of Mother Rose’ and vice-principal (Shift-I) Dr.Sr.Arul Mary had thanked the multi-disciplinary guests who came to attend the alumnae meeting.
Dr.M.Ragam, president, Fatima College Alumnae Association (FCAA) had welcomed the old students and Dr.M.Priyadharsani, FCAA secretary, presented the annual report for 2025-26 academic year, the press release added. The alumnae guests were from different professions and they had set the tone for campus memories from their days.
Dr.T.Sakuntala worked in Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Ms.Meena Satheesh is a retired Principal District Judge and Ms.Priya Balan is founder-chairperson of Fire Bee Techno Services.
Dr.Sr.Bindu Antony, vice-principal (Shift-II) and Dr.S.Aaarthi, vice-president, FCAA, were among those who interacted with the alumnae and shared their happiness with the old students of Fatima College who were also shown a video presentation on the notable achievements of the college, according to the press release here today.
