THREE AMAZON ACHIEVERS from TCE in Madurai felicitated for their success on July 3rd 2026.
MADURAI: The Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) in Madurai which is a renowned institution that is well known destination for companies’ campus placements to students has added another feather to its cap in the 2025-26 academic year.
Three final year engineering students of TCE got full-time offers from Amazon for their exceptional performance during their internship at Amazon. The students who got selected are Mr.Thejeshwar Raj P (B.E.Computer Science and Engineering), Mr.Kannappan R (B.E. Computer Science and Engineering) and Mr.Hrishikesan S (B.Tech Computer Science and Business Systems).
TCE Chairman Mr.Hari Thiagarajan had felicitated the Amazon achievers at a special recognition event held in the college campus yesterday-July 3rd 2026- and congratulated them for bringing laurels to the institution.
He commended the outstanding efforts of the students and appreciated the Career Development Centre of TCE for its sustained efforts to create good career opportunities for students, according to a press release received from the college here today.
Mr.Hari Thiagarajan also reiterated the TCE’s focus on strengthening industry partnerships and preparing students for global careers.
The three ‘Amazon Achievers’ had converted their Amazon internships into Full Time Employment offers based on their exceptional performance during their internship period, the press release said.
They were felicitated in the college campus on July 3rd 2026 in the presence of college principal Dr.L.Ashok Kumar and Dean of Career Development Centre Dr.G.K.Raajesh along with TCE Registrar, HoDs, faculty members and other staff who greeted the three students for their success.
GOOD PLACEMENT RECORD:
TCE had a good placement performance during the academic year 2025-26 as 638 students have already secured placements by receiving totally 756 offers from 98 leading companies.
“Our institution has recorded 16 international offers while 118 students have received dual offers. The highest salary offered this year stands at Rs.48 lakhs per annum and the average salary is Rs.7.58 lakhs per annum thereby reflecting the strong confidence that leading companies are placing on our TCE graduates,” the college has said while stressing on the continuous efforts in TCE campus for a strong industry engagement and to nurture globally competent engineering graduates from Madurai.
