MADURAI: The election campaign by various political parties is picking up at a fast pace in Madurai and MLA candidates are going door-to-door to meet the voters and get their support by voicing their promises and giving fresh assurances to the Madurai voters.
AIADMK candidate Dr.P.Saravanan who is contesting from Madurai North assembly segment had campaigned in DRO Colony and surrounding localities in the city by directly meeting the local people, associations, traders and various age group of voters to garner support for AIADMK and appealed to them to vote him as MLA in the assembly elections.
“The assembly elections that will take place on April 23rd will be a turning point for Tamil Nadu people and Tamil Nadu politics. Voters will defeat the DMK surely. People of this State and Madurai North assembly constituency will get relieved of corrupt DMK rule in our State because we had seen huge scams everywhere including the Madurai Corporation. The false promises by DMK and M.K.Stalin during the last elections campaign as poll promises will be given a fitting reply by the voters this time. And as a candidate who is contesting from AIADMK, I myself will take care of my people in Madurai North constituency with support to students, employees, common man, families and especially women through my personally monitored welfare schemes exclusively for Madurai North,” the AIADMK Madurai North constituency candidate Dr.P.Saravanan has said while speaking to ‘Lotus Times’ at DRO Colony in Madurai on April 11th 2026 before he proceeded to other places in this constituency for his election campaign.
Traders, local people, voters and common people at DRO Colony in K.Pudur in Madurai welcomed the AIADMK candidate today and expressed their suggestions, grievances and day-to-day problems faced by the the people locally.
