
MADURAI: The new office-bearers of Madurai District Maavu Manufacturers Association for the year 2026-27 were elected unanimously at the 36th anniversary event held here on January 4th 2026.
Mr.C.Deivarajan was elected as president and P.J.Manoharan is the secretary while A.Ashok Kumar will be the treasurer. The vice-presidents are R.Seeniappan, P.Dinesh Kumar and K.Thirumalai Samy while B.Muthuraja and P.K.Ananth got elected as joint secretaries of the association, according to a press release received yesterday.
The Madurai District Maavu Manufacturers Association, which is a leading body representing a large network of various flour manufacturers, has extended its support to sponsor the Platemill Training Centre of Agro Food Trade Centre in Madurai which is being technically supported by the Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council in Madurai, Mr.C.Deivarajan, association president, has said in the press statement and he had emphasized that students referred by the Crescent Innovation and Incubation Council will be given practical exposure and training at the Plate Mill Training Centre.
“Manufacturing units under our association will facilitate employment and apprenticeship opportunities for trained students. Skill based education is the backbone of economic growth and by supporting the institutions like Crescent, we can help industrial training and employment opportunities. Our association sees this as a social responsibility,” the president of Madurai District Maavu Manufacturers Association Mr.C.Deivarajan has said.
