MADURAI: A two-day workshop on Postmodern Philosophy is being organized in Chennai on February 7th and February 8th 2026 with classes and sessions in Tamil.
Socrates Studio, which is an exclusive media channel for philosophy being run from Madurai, has taken this initiative with the objective of introducing philosophical theories of eminent thinkers like Foucault, Derrida, Lyotard, Deleuze and Guattari who created a major impact in the fields of western philosophy, art, literature, culture and politics in the last century, a press release from Socrates Studio here has informed today.
The sessions in this two-day workshop will be handled by Prof.R.Murali, former Principal, The Madura College and a renowned personality in the field of philosophy.
This workshop will be held on February 7th and 8th 2026 (Saturday and Sunday) at Kavikko Mandram in Mylapore in Chennai, and classes will be conducted in Tamil on both days from 10 am to 5 pm, the press release added.
