CHENNAI: Top ranking higher education institutions in Tamil Nadu were felicitated at Raj Bhavan in Chennai today- October 8th 2025-by Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi for securing top ranks in National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025 in the country.
The top institutions include IIT-Madras, SRM Institute of Science and Technology-Chennai, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham at Coimbatore, NIT-Tiruchi, Anna University-Chennai, CMC-Vellore, SASTRA atThanjavur, Alagappa University at Karaikudi, PSGR Krishnammal College for Women at Coimbatore, Loyola College in Chennai, Madras Christian College at Chennai and Thiagarajar College from Madurai.
Full list of the institutions and citation receiver names with their category and rank is given by the Raj Bhavan in its order of felicitation today which took place at Raj Bhavan along with a conclave for excellence in higher education in Tamil Nadu.
