MADURAI: The Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School at K.Pudur in Madurai has entered into a MoU with the most sought after public library in Madurai-Kalaignar Centenary Library- here today-September 1st 2025 to promote reading habit and learning skills among students.
Through this coming together of school and public library, the school children will be able to gain more knowledge and reading habit which is essential for future success by acquiring life skills, according to a press release received from the school today because they will have access to a vast collection of books in this library.
Mr.S.Sheik Nabi, Headmaster, Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School of K.Pudur in Madurai and Mr.V.Dinesh Kumar, Chief Librarian and Information Officer of Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai were among those present at the MoU signing event on September 1st 2025 along with library officials of Kalaignar Centenary Library Mr.V.Santhanakrishnan (Deputy Chief Librarian and Information Officer) and Ms.K.Sivakamasundari (assistant librarian and KCL information officer) besides other staff from library and the school, the press release added.
