Sugapriya Hospital’s Sunday medical camp gets good response at Mahatma Gandhi Nagar in Madurai

MADURAI: A free medical camp was conducted by Sugapriya Hospital in Madurai at Siruvani Nathi Street in Mahatma Gandhi Nagar in the city today-July 13th 2025.

A large number of residents in that locality had attended this health checkup camp where specialist doctors gave free consultation and basic tests were done and medicines were given free to the required patients. The free camp was organized in association with Siruvani Nathi Street Residents Welfare Association.

Mr.T.Murugesan, Chief Operating Officer, Sugapriya Hospital, has said that more focus is being given to hold medical camps on Sundays for the convenience of people. “It is important to go for basic tests for sugar, BP, bone mineral density check etc. We are creating awareness among the people through free camps and those who come to our hospital for further diagnosis will be given concession in treatment,” he added.

P.Jayakodi, president, Siruvani Nathi Street Residents Welfare Association (near Super Store) at Mahatma Gandhi Nagar-Madurai, Mr.L.Elangovan, secretary, Mr.GNK Ramesh Babu, treasurer and Mr.G.Sathiyan (BSNL), association advisor along with Mr.Annamalai and Mr.G.Kathirvelan besides Sugapriya Hospital PRO Mr.K.Sivagnanam were among those present at the free health screening camp today.

The doctors team include ortho specialist Dr.K.Mithun Prakash and Dr.Meena Latha from Sugapriya Hospital and a good number of women, children and senior citizens got benefited with free consultation and medicines.
