MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Governor Mr.R.N.Ravi had today felicitated eminent personalities in medical field at a special event held in Raj Bhavan in Chennai.
To commemorate Doctor’s Day and in recognition of the great services being done by medical fraternity, the Governor felicitated 50 personalities at the Governor’s Think to Dare Series interaction with doctors today- July 13th 2025. The Governor had an interaction with the doctors and shared his thoughts about the the importance of doctors and asked about latest trends in medical field.
Among those who spoke at this special event at Raj Bhavan in Chennai today include renowned diabetologist Dr.V.Mohan of Dr.Mohan’s Diabetes Specialities Centre in Chennai, Prof.Dr.V.Chockalingam, Chief Cardiologist, former Director-Institute of Cardiology, Madras Medical College and Dr.Mohan Kameswaran, Managing Director and Senior Consultant, Madras ENT Research Foundation along with gastroenterologist Dr.Palaniappan (Pal) Manickam and others.
The Tamil Nadu Governor had released a book ‘Life and Legacy of Salem P.Adhinarayana Chetty’ and he had commended the significant role being played by doctors for a healthy India.
