MADURAI: Indian government’s top public sector undertaking in telecom field- BSNL-has today invited bids for selling its land parcels located at four places- Mettupalayam, Udumalpet, Cuddalore and Puducherry- and the last date for submission of online bid is December 17th 2024 up to 3 pm.
The Government of India has taken a decision to monetize the real estate assets of BSNL most of which are located in prime locations. “Introduction of advanced telecom technology in BSNL has led to replacement of old equipment and also due to reduction of staff strength after VRS 2019, huge space of BSNL has become vacant in various BSNL buildings and these buildings along with land parcels have come for sale. The Government of India has taken a decision to monetize the real estate assets of BSNL,” a press release received from the government has informed today-December 10th 2024.
