MADURAI: The team from O.C.P.M.Girls Higher Secondary School in Madurai had won gold medal and trophy in the 40th State level badminton competition conducted by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department to commemorate Bharathiar Day.
This ball badminton competition was held at Kongunadu Engineering College in Tiruchi district from December 5th to 7th 2024. Schools from 38 districts participated in this competition and in the final match, OCPM Madurai team defeated Villupuram team with points 35-23, 35-18 and won the State-level ball badminton trophy, according to a press release from school Headmistress Mrs.N.Mary here on December 10th 2024.
