MADURAI: An introductory meeting of ‘Tamiliyakka members’ was held at Al-Ameen Higher Secondary School in K.Pudur in Madurai on 5th November 2023, Sunday, at a meeting organized by Madurai District Tamiliyakka members.
According to a press release received here yesterday, the Correspondent of PTR Engineering College Mr.Thanavelan had given motivation and encouragement by saying that gold coins will be given to school students of Madurai district who win speech and essay competitions.
Madurai district secretary Palanichamy had presided over the function and spoke about the aims and membership of Tamiliyakam. Madurai District Treasurer Mariyappan, city secretary Dr.Muthumani, district coordinator Sheik Nabi and district deputy secretary Dr.Muthukumar were among those who spoke and offered felicitations at this function.
Spiritual speaker ‘Perumpulavar’ Balakrishnan and Madurai Senthamil College former principal Mr.Chinnappa offered their felicitations. The action plan and resolutions were explained by Venkatesan and Tamilkumaran. The press release said that this event for which arrangements were made by district joint secretary Abuthair was very motivating for several people. Mr.Subramanian had proposed a vote of thanks.
