MADURAI: Responding to the appeal made by Tamil Nadu Chief Minister for contributions to Public Relief Fund towards Corona relief and assistance activities, the Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association had donated Rs.25,50,000 on April 6th 2020.
The contribution amount towards Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund was handed over to Madurai District Collector Dr.T.G.Vinay today by a team from the Foodgrains Merchants Association led by its president Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam here.
Members of the association at various places have also come forward responding to the association’s call and contributed Rs.24,25,000 to their district collectors for Corona relief purposes.
The Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association had made a particular mention about the large donation contribution made to Tamil Nadu Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund by Sakthi Masala Private Limited and Dindigul Naga Flour Mill.
