MADURAI: The Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association has today appealed to Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi requesting him to increase the number of employees limit from 100 to 500 for the central government to bear for three months the Employee Provident Fund (EPF) contribution of employer’s as well as employee’s.
In a letter written to the PM on 29th March 2020, the association president Mr.S.P.Jeyapragasam has appealed that the employee limit be increased to 500 for small scale industry, micro small and medium enterprises and hospitals so as to enable them to come out of the pandemic situation caused by Corona virus.
