Pouring their heart out for police with food (Video)

MADURAI: Police personnel are facing tough time during this Corona crisis period due to their responsibility in implementing public movement restrictions, total lock down, Section 144 curfew and to prevent crowds in public places.

While the police are sweating it out on the streets, a group of volunteers have come forward to provide food to police personnel in Madurai. These service-minded volunteer team from ‘Yaavum Inidhe’ are also preparing to reach out to various others toiling on the field by providing food, vegetable etc.

“Yaavum Inidhe Foundation is spearheading a silent service movement during this Corona crisis period by joining hands with the State government in preventive measures….The Corona Disinfection Tunnel is one such initiative……We are happy to inform that this Foundation team of service volunteers is providing 1,200 lunch  and 1,200 dinner to the police,” Mr..V.V.R.Raj Sathyan of AIADMK IT Wing, has said today – on 5th April 2020- after going to Madura College along with Minister Sellur K.Raju.

Providing vegetables, arranging food at government hospitals, distributing face masks etc are some of the activities that will commence soon through this Foundation.

Mr.Kamala Kannan, Mr.Bala, Mr.Padmanabhan and Mr.Kumaran were among those in the volunteer team that is trying to help deserving people affected by Corona lock down.
