MADURAI: Tagore Literary Association was inaugurated at Rajapalayam Rajus’ College in Rajapalayam on July 7th 2026 during an event held under the auspices of PG Department of English.
Prof.K.Yogarajan, a retired faculty from SVN Polytechnic College in Virudhunagar who was the chief guest spoke on ‘Tagore-The Voice of Indian Literature’, according to a press release received from the college yesterday.
Dr.C.Ramakrishnan, Principal, Mr.T.Maruthanayagam, Head of Department and Mr.A.Gnanavelayutham, coordinator (SF), were among those who offered their felicitations while emphasizing the importance of Tagore Literary Association.
Student secretary of the literary association Ms.N.Lakshmipriya welcomed the gathering and joint secretary of the literary association Mr.M.Janarthanan had proposed a vote of thanks, the press release added.
