MADURAI: The freshers’ induction programme for first year students of Senthamarai College of Arts and Science situated at Vadapalanji in Madurai had shown new horizons at the special orientation event conducted for them on June 24th 2026.
Those who joined this college in academic year 2026-27 got familiarized with the campus environment, institutional values and opportunities that are available for their holistic development, according to a press release received from the college here yesterday.
Mr.B.Mangala Murugan, former merchant navy captain and a marine operations professional, was the chief guest and he motivated the freshers to cultivate self confidence and leadership qualities in the college campus.
Dr.L.Senthoorpandy, Principal, Senthamarai College, had emphasized the important of discipline and academic excellence while a special motivation session named ‘milestone to the destination’ was jointly presented by the college’s academic coordinator Dr.V.Vasanthakumar and vice-principal Mr.S.Senthilkumar by highlighting the significance of goal-setting along with skill enhancement.
Ms.P.Lavanya, a third year student from commerce stream , had welcomed the new students and their parents while V.Keerthana (3rd year B.A.English) had proposed a vote of thanks.
