MADURAI: Mr.Om Prakash Meena has assumed charge as Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Madurai Division of Southern Railway here today-July 28th 2025. He has taken over from Mr.Sharad Srivastava who has been transferred on completion of his tenure.
The new DRM comes from 1996 batch of Indian Railway Service of Engineers and later he joined Indian Railways in 1998. He did his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from MBM Engineering College at Jodhpur in Rajasthan.
Prior to this posting, he served as Chief Engineer (construction and road safety) in Eastern Railway. In his railway career, Mr.Om Prakash Meena held several key positions at various places in the country and he possesses a vast managerial experience, a press release received from Madurai Division here today has informed.
