MADURAI: Senior journalist Mr.Kommineni Srinivasa Rao of Sakshi Telugu news TV channel has been arrested by the police today- June 9th 2025- due to a large number of complaints for the derogatory remarks made against women by a political analyst in a TV political debate which was anchored by him three days back.
He was arrested in Hyderabad today morning by the Andhra Pradesh police and taken to Vijayawada for a through enquiry. In the TV debate, a political analyst Mr.Krishnam Raju had allegedly made very derogatory comments against the women in Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati following which there has been a huge outrage against the YSR Congress Party and its ‘Sakshi’ TV news channel which is run by Jformer Chief Minister Mr.Jagan Mohan Reddy’s family.
The mass public protests are taking place in Andhra Pradesh right now demanding quick police action against the Sakshi TV news channel management, senior journalist Mr.Kommieni Srinivasa Rao and political analyst Mr.Krishnam Raju.
