MADURAI: Educationist and thought leader Prof.L.Jawahar Nesan has taken a cycle to steer the strong opposition for NEET in Tamil Nadu and for raising various important demands that are connected to the field of education.
He is now leading a cycle rally from Kanniyakumari to Chennai through a forum called ‘Children and Youth Lives Matter’ with a set of demands including scrapping of NEET exam for medical admission, abolition of National Testing Agency (NTA), bringing back education to State list and withdrawal of National Education Policy 2020.
“The All India Save Education Committee expresses its solidarity to this cycle rally which began at Kanniyakumari on September 26th 2026 and it will reach Chennai on October 16th 2026. AISEC supports the demands and also participate at Rajapalayam, Madurai, Tiruvarur and Chennai. We appeal to the students and youth to participate in this rally being led by Prof.L.Jawahar Nesan who is a distinguished person as a former Vice-Chancellor and member of education policy panel,” Mr.V.Sudhakar, State Office Secretary of AISEC-Tamil Nadu, has said in a press statement issued today.
