MADURAI: Several steps have been taken up by the Madurai Corporation to prevent-control COVID infection in the densely populated temple city of Madurai right from March this year when the Corona lockdown was announced.
The latest is the shortfilm released here on 17th October 2020 to create more public awareness about Corona virus and its prevention through wearing of face mask, public distancing, hand wash, sanitizers etc. Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan, City Engineer Mr.Arasu, Corporation PRO Mr.Chithravel, City Health Officer Dr.Kumaraguruparan, Health Inspector Rajakannan, Rotary Club members, Vishan Creators Bhimraja and others were present at this event held at Vishaal de Mall in Madurai city on 17th October 2020.
The important role being played in Corona control and awareness activities including doctors, nurses, paramedical staff, health and sanitary workers, corporation staff, engineers and officials was highlighted and thanked at the yesterday’s short film release where Madurai Corporation Commissioner Mr.S.Visakan had thanked all those who are relentlessly working in COVID-19 control mission in Madurai city.
