CHENNAI: A major petrol bunk scandal is coming out on 5th September 2020 due to a network of operators who are putting in ‘cheating electronic chips’ in the metres in petrol bunks. Police have conducted sudden raids and a few bunks were identified in the southern States today. For every one litre of petrol you are paying, 40 ML of petrol is missing. (Wait for more details in a few minutes). The IOC- BPCL and HPCL have been alerted by the police and they are taking action now.
