MADURAI: The total number of persons who had tested Corona positive in Tamil Nadu today was 5,962. On 2nd September 2020, there were 98 deaths in Tamil Nadu because of COVID-19 and the total number of persons tested Corona positive till date in the State is 4,39,959, according to the media bulletin released by Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu on 2nd September 2020.
