MADURAI: Three final year Computer Science Engineering (CSE) students of Vaigai College of Engineering near Madurai have emerged as winning team at the National AI Innovation Challenge ‘TSM Technova 2026’ finale held at Thiagarajar School of Management campus here on September 30th 2026.
The winning team which is named as ‘A Chaplin Brand 1:1’ comprised T.Thavasiva, K.Karthikeyan and S.Yukeshwaran, and this team had received a cash prize of Rs.25,000 for zonal level victory and Rs.50,000 cash prize for national win, according to a press release received from the college here today.
“These three final year CSE students have brought laurels to our college with their victory. The competition had participation of more than 500 colleges across the country, with over 10,000 student registrations and more than 2,500 innovation teams. Our students went on to win at zonal level and upto national level. It is a proud moment for us and the winning trio was congratulated by college management, faculty and students,” the press release said.
