Fatima College US South Chapter alumnae association at Dallas-Texas in US on May 2nd 2026.
MADURAI: The alumnae chapter of US South Chapter Fatima College Alumnae Association (FCAA) was inaugurated at Dallas-Texas in USA on May 2nd 2026 as a global outreach programme to create a platform for reunion of old students of Fatima College in Madurai.
FCAA US South Chapter’s new members had reflected their continued bond with their alma mater and how they share their spirit of unity through the roots of Fatima College in Madurai, according to a press release here on May 2nd 2026.
The US South Chapter of Fatima College Alumnae Association was inaugurated at Dallas, Texas in USA on May 2nd 2026 in the presence of college Principal Dr.Sr.M.Fatima Mary and 11 faculty members from various departments of the college along with alumnae who are now settled in the US, the press release added.
Mrs.Vinothini, alumna from Economics Department of Fatima College, was elected as president of US South Chapter while ex-student Mrs.Revathi of Department of Sociology is vice-president and Mrs.Velvizhi of Zoology Department will be the secretary of Fatima College Alumnae Association’s US South Chapter in USA and Mrs.Pavithra who is an alumna of Commerce Department of Fatima College got elected as the treasurer, the Fatima College press release here on May 3rd 2026 has informed.
Dr.S.Aarthi, vice-president of FCAA and assistant professor of English ate Fatima College in Madurai, had welcomed the alumni members and Dr.S.J.Kala (Associate Professor of English), Dean of International Affairs and former president of FCAA, had outlined the activities and vision of the association by stressing that the launch of alumnae chapter in Dallas in the US will foster friendly collaboration between the old students and present students of Fatima College in Madurai.
