MADURAI: The ‘TEN Summit 2025’ organized by Thiagarajar Entrepreneur Network at Thiagarajar College of Engineering (TCE) campus in Madurai has today turned into a fertile ground of ideas and strategies for those who are aspiring to become entrepreneurs.
Successful entrepreneur and founder of Matrimony.com Mr.Murugavel Janakiraman had donned the role of an inspiring resource person for the youngsters who want to start a startup venture but want to know the perfect routemap for success.
“Desire is the starting point of success. The size of that desire will determine the level of your success. So, always have a burning desire and then comes your deservingness. Be self-motivated and put in relentless efforts towards that goal. Entrepreneurs are the engine of our country’s economy,” he said at the inaugural session of TEN Summit 2025 cum Triveni Expo at TCE campus in Madurai today morning-December 19th 2025.

Mr.Murugavel Janakiraman had shared his personal experiences and highlighted the strategies that were followed to make his matrimony enterprise very popular in the country and abroad.
“Have clarity on your category of business and after that your segment target is important. Be clear on what compelling value you are going to provide through your business startup. My suggestion for the youngsters is to be category creators and that was what we did at Matrimony.com,” he said and added that eight million people sign up every year for his matrimony portal service.
Urging the youth to keep their eyes and ears open always, he said that only a strong desire for success will help them to see the opportunities around them.
“From just being a matrimony platform, our company had now diversified into other categories connected to the same field. Apart from finding your life partner, we also do mandap.com to help people in finding marriage halls, wedding venues etc. Also, we have another idea for wedding gifts….Like that we create segments in our enterprise. New ideas will always succeed if you also have right execution plans,” he explained.
