MADURAI: K.Akshaya Priyan, a Class 12 student of A.P.T.Dorairaj Higher Secondary School at Mela Anuppanadi in Madurai, has received a cheque for Rs.50,000 and an appreciation certificate from the Tamil Nadu govenrment and Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu for his medal-winning performance in the Chief Minister’s Cup for gymnastics held in Chennai during October.
