MADURAI: The South Western Railway has today announced about cancellation of six special trains that are coming from Mysuru to various places in south Tamil Nadu because of low occupancy.
In a press release here on October 25th 2025, the Southern Railway has given information about the trains that are cancelled and the cancellation period with dates for the convenience of train passengers who travel between Mysuru and the places in southern districts.
Train No.06239 Mysuru-Tirunelveli special train on Mondays is cancelled for five trips from October 27th to November 24th 2025. Train No.06240 Tirunelveli-Mysuru Special on Tuesdays has been cancelled from October 28th to November 25th for five trips due to low occupancy, the Southern Railway press release has informed.
Train No.06243 special train from Mysuru to Karaikkudi on Thursday and Saturday, Train No.06244 from Karaikkudi to Mysuru on Friday and Sunday are also cancelled till the end of November 2025.
Train No.06237 Mysuru-Ramanathapuram Special train on Monday has been cancelled on October 27th 2025 while Train No.06238 Ramanathapuram-Mysuru Special on October 28th 2025 Tuesday is also cancelled, the press release has said.
