MADURAI: Union Finance Minister Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman will be in Madurai on September 19th 2025 as chief guest for the 80 years anniversary of The Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association Limited which was established here in the year 1945.
The 80th year anniversary celebrations of this association will take place at Ida Sucdder Auditorium in Velammal Medical College campus in Chinthamani area in Madurai on September 19th 2025 evening from 5 pm to 8 pm, according to the information received here today from the association.
Prominent personalities from trade and industry in Madurai region have been invited to speak at the 80 years anniversary event in Madurai, sources said today. The 80th anniversary souvenir will be released in this celebration event.
“The Union Finance Minister Mrs.Nirmala Sitharaman will be the chief guest and deliver special address to our association members at the 80th year anniversary celebration of Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association Limited in Madurai. The event will be at Velammal Complex in Chinthamani in Maduarai on September 19th 2025 at Ida Scudder Auditorium in Madurai. Several leading entrepreneurs from Madurai region will be attending this celebration meeting and BJP State general secretary Prof.Dr.Raama Sreenivasan will be among those who will be honoured by our association besides food scientists etc,” according to information received from Tamil Nadu Foodgrains Merchants Association president Mr.S.V.S.S.Velshankar, honorary secretary Mr.S.Sai Subramaniam and honorary advisors K.S.R.Natarajan and S.P.Jeyapragasam.
