IIT Madras Research Park Climate Startup Summit: Madurai’s Thozhuvam invited to submit research findings on pastoral bio-economy and climate change

MADURAI: A major summit on climate change is being organized in Chennai on September 11th and September 12th 2025 at IIT Madras Research Park by inviting startups, corporates and investors to focus on bio-solutions.

This event is named as ‘Climafix Summit 2025’ as a climate startup summit in which more than 400 startups, 250 corporates and 150 investors are expected to participate and deliberate on energy efficiency, bio-solutions and the latest advanced technology issues that could play a vital role in climate change issues in the world.

“From Madurai, Thozhuvam (green economy company) is going to present its research findings at this Climafix Summit 2025 and Dr.P.Kabilan from Madurai has been invited to present the findings on decarbonisation and bio-economy at IIT-M research park and Thozhuvam from Madurai has got an opportunity to present its insightful findings on climate change at the CLIMAFIX 2025 conference to be held at IIT Madras Research Park in Chennai. We will scientifically discuss how traditional pastoral practices will contribute to climate change mitigation (decarbonisation) because our ‘Thozhuvam’ is a gateway to pastoral bio-economy,” Mr.Kabilan has said in his message here yesterday and added that the energy consortium of IIT Madras and others are playing a key role in hosting ‘Climafix 2025’ summit in Chennai.
