MADURAI: First year students who joined Vaigai College of Engineering near Madurai had en enriching induction program experience today-August 22nd 2025- as the college management had created an opportunity to embark on a learning trip to Keeladi and to Kalaignar Centenary Library.
At Keeladi, they had a chance to understand the ancient Tamil civilization by looking at the rare archaeological exhibits and cultural heritage while at Kalaignar Centenary Library in Madurai the first year students got a through insights into the life and legacy of former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr.M.Karunanidhi besides the great collection of books.
“Today’s schedule for our students is a blend of education and inspiration. They got to know about our great Tamil history and heritage thanks to the initiative taken by Science and Humanities Department of Vaigai College of Engineering here,” the college press release added.
