
MADURAI: Mr.J.Karthick from Perambalur in Tamil Nadu has today assured that Rotary clubs in Rotary International District 3000 will work with various priority schemes for public welfare in Madurai region during the year 2025-26.
He is ready with an action plan for the entire Rotary district 3000 and the Rotary priorities for coming year include providing clean toilets in government schools, digital classrooms and programmes to prevent oral cancer among women etc.
The new Rotayr District Governor had addressed a press conference in Madurai today-July 4th 2025- where he had explained his action plan to the reporters. He said that service projects to the tune of Rs.20 crores will be carried out in the Rotary District 3000 jurisdiction which covers Madurai, Tiruchi, Perambalur, Theni, Dindigul, Karur and Pudukottai, with 150 Rotary clubs and 7,000 members.
The new Rotary District Governor Mr.J.Karthik will be the Rotary leader of RI District 3000 from July 1st 2025 for next one year and the theme for this year is Rotary Dream to carry out several service projects for the coming year.
Cancer prevention among young women through special awareness camps in schools and colleges, construction of modern toilets in schools and providing digital boards in 50 schools are among the top priorities.
