CHENNAI: Seven top legendary personalities in medical field are going to be presented with Lifetime Achievement Awards by the Rotary International District 3234 at Rotary Doctors Day celebration event to be held in Chennai on July 1st 2025.
The lifetime achievement awardees include former Tamil Nadu Health Minister Dr.H.V.Hande and Apollo Hospitals founder Dr.Prathap C Reddy along with Dr. Devi Shetty of Narayana Hospitals in Bengaluru, Prof.Dr.Mohamed Rela of Rela Hospital, Dr.C.Palanivelu of Gem Hospitals, Dr.Mayilvahanan Natrajan who is a senior orthopedic oncologist and Dr.V.S.Natrajan, geriatric physician.
“Rotary International District 3234 is celebrating 7 extraordinary doctors, 2 government medical institutions and 2 not-for-profit hospitals whose life sustaining work continues to enrich millions of people. On the occasion of Doctors Day, we salute their dedication, skill, leadership and unwavering commitment to humanity by honouring them with Lifetime Achievement Award,” Mr.Vinod Saraogi, Rotary District Governor for 2025-26, has said in his message.
Awards in the name of ‘Institutional Excellence Award for Exceptional Service’ will be presented to Madras Medical College, Stanley Medical College, Sankara Nethralaya and Kanchi Kamakoti Childs Trust Hospital. Tamil Nadu Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr.Ma.Subramanian will be the chief guest for awards presentation function to be held at Anna Centenary Auditorium at Kotturpuram in Chennai on July 1st 2025 from 4 pm onwards.
