MADURAI: Mr.K.J.Praveen Kumar has today assumed charge as the new district collector of Madurai district at collectorate here on June 25th 2025.
An IAS cadre officer, he belongs to Bellary in Karnataka and he joined the IAS in the year 2017 and he worked in a few positions already including as trainee collector of Madurai district here and as additional collector DRDA at Ramanathapuram district and as the Corporation Commissioner of Madurai Corporation besides his role in Chennai too.
