MADURAI: For devotees who are keen to see the famous Panduranga temple at Pandaripuram in Maharashtra, they are getting an opportunity right here in Madurai thanks to a special devotional programme called ‘Maduraiyil Pandari‘ taking place at Lakshmi Sundaram Hall here for five days starting from May 28th 2025 morning 8 am onwards.
There will a continuous chanting of the Pandaripuram temple deities- Panduranga and Rukmini- and the ‘Naamasankeerthanam’ as performed there will be done in Madurai in this five-day event, according to Sri Ramananda Saraswathi Swamigal of Madurai SriChakra Rajarajeswari Peedam.
A meeting of the organizing committee was held in the peedam premises on May 24th 2025-Saturday and after the meeting Sri Ramananda Saraswathi Swamigal had given the invitation copy of ‘Maduraiyil Pandari’ to Mr.Nellai Balu, founder of ‘Anushathin Anugraham’ in Madurai.
Speaking to reporters, the Swamiji has said that devotional program on Pandaripuram is being conducted in Madurai to give a feel of that famous temple to the devotees here.
‘It will be conducted for five days at Lakshmi Sundaram Hall in Tallakulam in Madurai from May 28th 2025. A similar program was conducted at Rishikesh, Bhadrachalam, Dwaraka, Puri and Mathura. There will be a Pandaripuram temple setting in Madurai and bhajans will be conducted for five days. Devotees and saints from across the country are coming to Madurai to attend this auspicious devotional event,” he said.
