MADURAI: The annual convocation of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) in Madurai will take place during the third week of October 2024 and a date has been sought from the Governor-Chancellor for holding the varsity convocation to present degrees to students, MKU sources said today- on September 9th 2024.
“A Syndicate meeting of MKU will take place soon to finalize the date and get the Governor’s consent for conducting the 56th annual convocation of MKU. In all probability, it will be taking place in the third week of October 2024. We have already asked the candidates to apply for convocation, receiving degrees etc. This year, there may not be a conferring of honorary Doctorate on any personality…..and this is the position as of today,” MKU sources told ‘Lotus Times’ media website on September 9th 2024.
