MADURAI: American College in Madurai had celebrated its 143rd College Day on April 1st 2024 in a colourful manner.
Mr.V.Nandakumar IRS, Commissioner of Income Tax-Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance-Government of India, was the special guest and he motivated students for their future successful life while college alumnus Dr.N.K.Senthamarai Kannan IPS delivered a special toast to the students.
Best student cultural award was given to student Ms.Harini of Students Services Committee, a press release from the college has informed yesterday. Retired faculty were honoured and prizes were distributed to student achievers.
Dr.M.Davamani Christober, Principal and Secretary, had welcomed the gathering and presented the college annual report. Rt.Rev.Dr.D.Jeyasingh Prince Prabhakaran, Bishop and President of College Governing Council, rendered special prayer and college Bursar Dr.M.Beaula Ruby Kamalam had proposed a vote of thanks.
