MADURAI: A very important meeting of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-Tamil Nadu is taking place in Coimbatore on February 4rd 2024 to discuss, analyse, and recommend on the probable candidates for Lok Sabha constituencies in the State from where the party candidates have good prospects in the coming 2024 Parliament elections. This list will be sent to the national party headquarters of the BJP very soon.
Senior level sources told ‘Lotus Times’ media website today that the national general secretary in-charge of organisation matters Mr.B.L.Santhosh is coming to Coimbatore for this meeting in which Parliament constituency in-charges, conveners and co-conveners will attend to give their inputs to the BJP national leadership for probable candidates.
“By February 15th 2024, the BJP list with all names and constituencies will be sent to our headquarters in Delhi. Our party’s national election committee will have a meeting after that to take a final call. The meeting in Coimbatore tomorrow is very important because all top State leaders led by our State BJP president Mr.K.Annamalai will be present there in Coimbatore meeting,” very reliable sources told ‘Lotus Times’ media over phone from Chennai on February 3rd 2024.
“A probable, expected list was prepared recommending names of three candidates for each Parliament constituency LS seat in Tamil Nadu. The final seats will be obviously known after seat sharing talks are over and alliance takes a shape in Tamil Nadu. But, the BJP in Tamil Nadu is very serious to win this time and the target is to win a minimum of 10 Lok Sabha seats and make a double digit victory in Tamil Nadu in the coming Lok Sabha elections 2024,” a senior BJP leader in Chennai told ‘Lotus Times’ website over phone.
In tomorrow’s meeting of Tamil Nadu BJP leaders on February 4th 2024, the national general secretary Mr.B.L.Santhosh will review the work done each Parliamentary constituency, the prospects, the probable candidates and the chances of victory with alliance parties, the sources said.
