MADURAI: Tamil Nadu today had 5,996 new COVID-19 cases and there were 102 deaths in the State, according to media bulletin released by the Health and Family Welfare Department of Government of Tamil Nadu on 28th August 2020. Totally 52,506 persons are under treatment as on date including home treatment, the media bulletin said today.
