MADURAI: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Mr.Edappadi K.Palanisami today inaugurated a new 900-bed Corona treatment centre in Madurai in the presence of Ministers and public health officials.
This treatment facility is at Vadapalanji near Madurai Kamaraj Uuniversity- Nagamalai Pudukottai. “People from southern districts of Tamil Nady are coming to Madurai Government Rajaji Hospital for treatment. So, we have started a temporary treatment centre for Corona care at our ELCOT campus in Vadapalanji in Madurai Oxygen cylinder, ventilator and ICU care are available in this COVID treatment centre opened today,” the Chief Minister has said on 6th August 2020. Tamil Nadu Health Secretary Dr.J.Radhakrishnan and senior officials were present.
