MADURAI: In an important development, 13 persons from Madurai who had returned from Telangana in a private van were taken to Corona isolation camp in Madurai and put under quarantine today.
These 13 persons had gone to Telangana State for religious preaching work. They belong to Maapalayam, K.Pudur, Kajiyar Thoppu, Vilachery, Thasildhar Nagar, Kamarajapuram and TB Road in Madurai city.
Screening and medical tests were done for these 13 persons who returned to Madurai in a private vehicle with the help of two drivers. Health Department officials and police in Madurai have taken them to Avaniapuram Chinna Udaippu Corona isolation camp here.
