CHENNAI: Leader of Opposition in Tamil Nadu Assembly and DMK president Mr.M.K.Stalin has urged the government to allow the shops to remain open till evening today – 25th April 2020.
There is going to be complete shutdown of shops in Chennai, Madurai, Coimbatore for four days from 26th morning to 29th evening for Corona control.
“Since there is going to be a total lockdown for four days from tomorrow, there is a huge rush for essential items. So, I appeal to be government to extend the shop timings till evening today. That will also ensure social physical distancing and the government must make arrangements for the people to buy from shops without hassles,” Mr.Stalin has said in a statement today morning- 25th April 2020.
The Opposition leader also asked the people to cooperate during this four-day total lockdown by following the restrictions because the government had announced it after the suggestion from expert doctors.
