CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu BJP’s State-level leaders and office-bearers had an important pep talk orientation session which was addressed by the new in-charge of TN BJP Mr.Ram Madhav at party headquarters ‘Kamalalayam’ in T.Nagar in Chennai today-October 5th 2026.

BJP national vice-president Mr.Ram Madhav who was appointed last month as new in-charge of the party in Tamil Nadu had today formally assumed charge and immediately started his work along with co-in-charges Mrs.D.K.Aruna and Mr.Nirmal Kumar Surana.

Party sources told ‘Lotus Times’ media today that Mr.Ram Madhav had given a clear political road map to Tamil Nadu BJP on how to strengthen the party at grassroot level despite heavy odds.

“We welcomed the new in-charges at party office today morning. The three leaders-Mr.Ram Madhav, Mrs.D.K.Aruna and Mr.Surana had commenced their party work straightaway because Prime Minister Mr.Narendra Modi is coming to Chennai on October 11th for inaugurating the Metro Rail project,” a party leader has said.

Another senior BJP leader has said that Mr.Ram Madhav had enthused the party leaders and cadres by saying that Tamil Nadu is a potential place for BJP in the coming days and hence they must work as a constructive opposition party in the State by holding agitations and protests whenever and whereever they are warranted against the present TVK government led by Mr.Vijay.

MODI-VIJAY MEET AT METRO OPENING:

“Mr.Modi’s visit to Chennai on October 11th 2026 assumes significance and it will be keenly watched by political circles because that is going to be the first meet in Chennai between the PM and CM here after TVK came to power. Mr.Ram Madhav had spent more than two hours in the party office in Chennai today and he asked us to monitor the functioning of Vijay’s TVK government from close quarters and make sure that BJP raises its voice against wrong doings by the present State government,” a senior State leader has said.

Party sources also added that Mr.Ram Madhav had directed the State leadership to keep aside the party leaders who are facing various allegations and bring back the good persons who had left the party due to some personal reasons.
