MADURAI: A provisions shop owner in Madurai city was attacked with sickle and a petrol bomb was hurled at early hours creating tension in Madurai West Anupanadi locality.
According to sources, a three-member gang had attacked Ganesan who is running a retail shop in Mel Anupanadi here in Chinna Kanmai area. The gang had escaped from the spot.
Teppakulam police here are investigating and the victim Ganesan was admitted in a private hospital.
