MADURAI: Hundreds of parents and students have today, 29th January 2020. staged a protest at Tirunagar in Madurai city demanding that the district administration and school education authorities must take action against school management.
The school in news is Indira Gandhi Higher Secondary School at Tirunagar here. Students and parents have complained that the school has been closed for the past one week and holidays declared for reasons not known.
“Students from Tirunagar, Tiruparankundram and other places are studying in this school. But there is some problem here. Teachers are not coming regularly and they are announcing holidays. We appeal to Madurai district administration to take action immediately,” students and parents have demanded today.
