Aravind Eye Hospital Dr.R.Kim receives BML Munjal award in New Delhi on June 15th 2026.
MADURAI: The world-renowned Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai was conferred the BML Munjal Award 2026 for excellence in leadership and learning development.
“Aravind Eye Care System has received special recognition-BML Munjal Award 2026 (18th edition). This is an award that recognizes organisations which successfully design and implement innovative learning and development strategies, leveraging human resource development as a key driver of organizational excellence,” according to a press release received from Aravind Eye Hospital in Madurai today.
Dr.R.Kim, president of Govel Trust and Chief Medical Officer of Aravind Eye Hospital and Postgraduate Institute of Ophthalmology-Madurai, had received the award from chief guest Mr.Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at the award presentation ceremony held in New Delhi on June 15th 2026 in the presence of Mr.Sunil Kant Munjal, Chairman, Hero Group.
“The 18th edition of BML Munjal Award which was instituted in memory of the late Padma Bhushan Dr.Brijmohan Lal Munjal (founder of the Hero Group) has been conferred on Aravind Eye Care System from Madurai for the year 2026. This recognition highlights Aravind Eye Hospital’s sustained commitment in its field of healthcare delivery,” the press release added.
